Final Fantasy XI

Final Fantasy XI Online is a MMORPG. The important bits of information are that it is set in the world of Vana’diel and there are five races you can play. Now for the really important part. The Mithra is personally my favorite race. I know, I’m a girl and it is kind of a stereotype but…that’s why they’re stereotypes, right? Because lots of specific types of people like certain things.

Back to Mithra. The Mithra race looks like a mix between a cat and a human. (collective awwws may now commence) Back to the chick factor, the only type of Mithra character is a female. Of course that doesn’t mean guys can’t choose to create a Mithra character. Sure, they can be Mithra…but their character has to be a chick. ::evil laughter:: I love it! The prominent character traits are dexterity and agility, unfortunately they are low on charisma. Silly kitty, charisma is for Humes.

The game has been around for several years making it one of the most popular MMORPGs out there. With this popularity comes expansion packs. Because really, who wants to just sit around and enjoy being at the top of the food chain, right? I mean it is soooo much fun to fight your way to the top all over again. (a tinge of sarcasm, yes) I don’t hate expansion packs, they are good for new story lines and new items and all but geesh. Every time an expansion pack comes out, not to mention updates, I have to defrag my computer. All of the installs tend to leave it a bit fragmented and running a little slow for my taste. Of course it goes a lot quicker if I don’t wait till the updates and expansions to defrag…but who wants to waste game time, right?
