Get Your Game On

I don’t know about you but I love games. As a child I started with board games, which are still a bit of an addiction, and then moved on to the Atari (oh, yeah) and then Nintendo, and then more Nintendo and Play Station. Then I met my husband who is a total computer geek (geeks are so cute) and he introduced me to computer gaming. I’m so hooked.

I like role playing online and I like killing things online (great way to release some aggression without going to jail or breaking any laws), I even like RTS games that let me plot out the destruction of those who would dare stand against me. Yeah, I’m such a geek. Anyway to really get your game on you need a computer that can handle the challenge. I know I sound like a total geek, but I haven’t yet crossed over to the dark side. I still have a regular laptop (I hear you gasping in horror) but I do defrag regularly to keep the fragmentation from interfering too much with patches.

::sigh:: Unfortunately, it seems the universe is conspiring against me and I may have to break down and buy a game machine. I’m going to be doing a bit of research before I do anything crazy.
